In real life, Kode 9 is Steve Goodman, has PhD, and is a professor
(The latter necessitates the former, but it is still impressive none the less)
His book Sonic Warfare, is out now.
Judging from the sample chapters and the press releases, it will be a fascinating exploration of sonic culture and the role sound plays in our lives, touching on Afro-Futurism, Steve's theory of music as a virus, and the idea of "unsound".
